How long does wedding dress cleaning take?
Standard wedding dress cleaning usually takes around 3-4 weeks from collection. If you need your dress back sooner, tell us your required date when requesting a quotation and we will confirm what is possible before you book.
How soon after the wedding should I send my dress?
It is generally sensible to arrange cleaning reasonably soon after the wedding, particularly when the dress has visible staining around the hem, train or bodice. Some marks can become more difficult to treat over time. Older wedding dresses are still welcome. Send us photographs and we will assess the gown before confirming whether we can accept it.
Will every stain come out?
We treat each mark carefully, but we cannot promise every stain will fully disappear. Age, fabric and how long a mark has been there all affect the result. After inspection we tell you what is realistic before cleaning starts.
What is the preservation box?
After cleaning, your wedding dress can be carefully packed in a preservation box using acid-free tissue for longer-term storage. The box helps keep the cleaned dress protected and supported while stored. Our wedding dress cleaning offer includes a FREE preservation box worth £70, with acid-free tissue.
Can you clean vintage dresses or ones labelled “do not dry clean”?
We assess these gowns individually. Vintage wedding dresses, older fabrics and dresses with restrictive care labels can require additional consideration before cleaning. Send us clear photographs of the gown and care label where available. We will assess the information before confirming whether we can accept the dress and what cleaning approach may be suitable.
What about beads, sequins and lace?
We inspect embellishments and construction before cleaning. Beads, sequins, lace and decorative details can respond differently depending on how they are attached and the materials used. If we identify a concern that could affect cleaning, we will discuss it with you before proceeding.

Collection is free within our normal collection area. If you are outside the usual area, send us your postcode on WhatsApp and we will confirm whether collection can be arranged. How much does it cost?
Wedding dress cleaning starts from £190 for a simple gown and £240 for a beaded or heavily detailed gown. Veils are £25 and skirts start from £35.
